The Kimberly Sechser Story
Kimberly Sechser started out as a public educator. She worked with students from kindergarten to twelfth grade in the U.S. and all that plus college students and business men in China. She loves teaching people and taking something difficult and complex and making it simple.
As she taught over the years, she realized her favorite part of the day was when people would come to her and talk about the things going on in their lives. She realized she wasn't passionate about the subject matter she was teaching. She was passionate about helping people get their dreams. It was then she knew she needed to make a change, so she did.
She started looking into seminars that she could attend to get more experience seeing how a seminar really ran. As she did that, she ran across some seminars that did firewalking. That lit a fire under her (pun intended), so she looked it up, and ended up not just learning firewalking but also learned how to facilitate a variety of hands on, team building activities!
Watching people overcome the things holding them back in their own lives and overcoming their fears by expanding their comfort zones has been rewarding. She loves watching people transform, do things that they didn’t think they could, and break the barriers they are facing.
She teaches principles--this means that they can be applied to a wide range of subjects and areas. She teach the skills that will help someone in their chosen area and then gives them the power to use their creativity in whatever way will best serve them.
She also teaches the people she works with in her teams principles for doing seminars and facilitating. This allows them to bring their unique talents and personalities with each group of people while still maintaining the integrity of the company.
The company is based out of Ogden, Ut. There are seminars and trainings for churches, schools and businesses.
